Alpaca trekking means going on a guided walk with an alpaca on a lead rope.
Alpaca trekking on Åmøy takes place on managed grazing land and through forest with a beautiful view over Mastrafjorden and towards Rennesøy.

It’s a calm, adrenaline-free experience. You don’t need to be in peak physical shape to join us and the alpacas, but you should have normal mobility, as the terrain can be uneven.

The tour takes about 90 minutes.
Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to take unforgettable selfies!

Practical information.
Meeting point: farm shop, 20 minutes before the walk starts
Total time required: 2 hours
Minimum age to lead your own alpaca: 12 years
Companion participants: minimum age 6 years
Clothing & footwear: dress for the weather; wear hiking clothes and boots, as the walk follows trails in varied terrain
