Live Boot Camp, The masculine Restoration

Why are you a man? Why did God create both man and woman? Why not just “human” – one and the same gender? What is the purpose of masculinity and femininity? We mean this with all our heart: Before you truly know who you are and what you were created for, you will not live life – with a capital “L”.

It’s about understanding who you are so that you can live with honesty and offer the world your true strengths. That will change your life. You’ll smile more. More than that; the world, the woman, the children, and your brothers need you to be a whole man. Life then becomes deeper, more exciting, more logical, and infinitely more meaningful.

The long weekend is NOT a retreat with talk therapy, it is NOT packed with “macho” activities in the woods, and it is definitely NOT filled with religious “bullshit.”

Boot Camp Live is part of an ancient journey – an initiation from father to son, from elder to younger. Some call it discipleship. We call it returning to the journey God has always called men to.

The weekend is for men, taught by men, based on Biblical truths and lived experience. Through personal and honest teaching, quiet reflection, brotherhood, film, adventure, meals, and time spent in God’s creation, you will discover something deep in God’s heart – and in your own. This is not just a weekend. For many of us, it has been a turning point in life – one of the most important experiences we’ve had as men.

Become the man you were created to be by following the example Jesus lived. Jesus chose to be born as a man – yet the consequences of this are little understood. Note: For the first time, all teaching during the weekend will be in English, making the event international. English films will have Norwegian subtitles.

Who Are We?
Wild at Heart Norway is a group of ordinary Norwegian men—husbands, fathers—who face the challenges of everyday life. Some of us work in areas related to family and marriage, while others have completely different jobs.

Wild at Heart
The book by John Eldredge—previously titled "Wild at Heart"—has now been released in a revised edition. 
The book (either the new or older edition) MUST be read by everyone before attending the Boot Camp. 

Transport:
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp and must arrive on time for check-in.
We may be able to assist with transport in some cases. Send us an email and we’ll look into it.

Participants:
Due to the intimate and personal nature of the content, Boot Camp is not a father/son event. We encourage fathers and sons to participate—just not at the same Boot Camp, and especially not the first time.

For the same reasons—depth of content and shared experience—Boot Camp is not intended for youth. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

Price:
NOK 4150
This includes:

• 3 dinners

• 3 lunches

• 3 breakfasts

• 3 overnight stays
  The price also covers the conference fee (NOK 200) and a non-refundable registration fee (NOK 1000).
  Please bring your own bedding and towels.
  Transport to and from the camp is not included.

Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is required at the time of reservation for this event.

• Cancellation up to 3 weeks before the event: Refund of the event fee minus the NOK 1000 registration fee.

• Cancellation less than 3 weeks before the event: No refund of the event fee.

• Registration cannot be transferred to another person or event at any time.

Cancellation by Wild at Heart Norway:
If the event is made impossible due to natural disaster, war, earthquake, fire, strike, illness, accident, epidemic, actions of government or its agencies or officials, or any other legitimate cause beyond our control, we will cancel the event and refund all payments—including the registration fee.
