Nicasino Dance Festival 2026
From January 23–25, we’re gathering dance enthusiasts from near and far for a weekend of Cuban salsa and bachata at Hotel Caledonien in Kristiansand.
You’ll meet experienced instructors from both Norway and abroad – people who are passionate about dance, teaching, and real connection on the floor. Throughout the weekend, you can dive into technique, musicality, and partner work, no matter your level.
The festival takes place in luxurious surroundings at a hotel that has everything we need: spacious dance halls with quality floors, delicious meals, comfortable rooms, and stunning views over the city and fjord.
For the full experience, we recommend staying at the hotel. It gives you time to relax between sessions – and the chance to connect with instructors and fellow dancers without having to come and go.
This is a weekend for those who want to learn, dance, and be part of an inclusive, vibrant dance community – in the heart of winter, with warm rhythms and great company.
