Skaperverket Kulturskole offers individual lessons in singing, piano, guitar, bass and drums.

The student receives individual lessons for 25 minutes each week with an instrument teacher. Each semester consists of 12 lessons. In some cases, where this is useful for the student's learning and development, we plan for fixed group teaching instead of individual teaching. Some of the teaching hours in a semester will for all students be turned into interaction lessons together with other students as part of the preparations for the school's concerts. The semester concert will normally be one of the 12 lessons, as singing/playing for an audience is an important part of the learning.

 

REGISTRATION
Registration is done via our registration form (checkin.no).
After submitting the form, you will be put on a waiting list, and you will receive a response to your application after the application has been processed. The place is not confirmed until you have received a place offer by email and the semester fee has been paid.

An application with a reply for a place offer at the Skaperverket Kulturskole applies as binding enrolment. A fee is charged for invoice reminders. If you cancel the enrolment later than 14 days after the start of the semester, the semester fee will not be refunded. If you cancel during the semester, the semester fee will not be refunded.

 

RIGHT OF PREFERENCE
Existing students have priority for places at semester admissions and will have a separate application deadline 1 week before main admissions begin.

 

PRESENCE
If the student cannot attend at the agreed time, the teacher must be notified as soon as possible.
If a teacher is prevented from teaching, we will try to find a replacement. If this cannot be done, the student will be offered to make up the lesson later. Student absences are not normally compensated, but leave can be applied for in advance in the case of longer planned absences.

 

INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT
See the description of each individual course for more information on what is required of instruments and equipment.
General information: Skaperverket Kulturskole has a drum kit, piano, bass amplifier, guitar amplifier, sound system and microphones for use during lessons. Students who play guitar and bass must bring their own instrument to class. Skaperverket Kulturskole does not have instruments for lending/renting.
