Workshop: Knowledge Planning in Digni-funded projects
Wednesday 5 February
09:00 – 13:00
Centralkirken Metodistene
St. Olavs Gate 28, Oslo, Norway
About the event
Organizer: DIGNI
This workshop will be held in English.
Expectations from Norad regarding evaluations have changed over the past year. There is now a stronger focus on “knowledge planning” in the project cycle, both on program and on individual project level. Dignis overall adaption to strategic knowledge planning is an ongoing process towards the next Norad application (2027). However, there is a need to clarify expectations, and to provide a set of preliminary guidelines and resources, to aid member and partner organisations in current project planning.
Therefore, Digni is inviting member organisations for a workshop on Knowledge Planning. The purpose will be to:
- Present preliminary expectations and guidelines on knowledge planning
- Discuss these guidelines and provide clarifications
- Identify further needs, such as capacity building, resources, collaborations etc
- Decide on next steps
This workshop is directed to all staff in Digni member organisations responsible for follow-up of Digni-funded projects and/or MERL (monitoring, evaluation, research, learning) in their organisation. You don't have to attend the member day to attend this workshop.
This “member only” workshop will be followed up with a webinar on knowledge planning, where partners are invited to participate.
NOTE: Those who is attending the member day and also will attend this workshop , can, if their organisational office in another town than Oslo, register their need for accomodation between the two days when registrating for the member day. Those with organisational offices in other towns than Oslo and who are NOT attending the member day, but still need to arrive the evening of the 4th to be able to attend this workshop from 9:00 can register this need here.
