Rust Everywhere: Powering our entire tech stack from GPU to GUI

Rust has emerged as the most admired programming language, as highlighted in the latest Stack Overflow Developer Survey, and its adoption is rapidly growing in the tech industry. Yet, many developers still find working with Rust on a daily basis out of reach.

At Muybridge, they’ve integrated Rust throughout their tech stack, utilizing it for everything from high-performance CUDA programming to GUI development, simulations, and even embedded systems. In this presentation, we’ll explore how Rust’s unique features make it an ideal choice for building a high-performance video processing pipeline, allowing us to “reinvent” the camera.

Attend physically in Media City Bergen's Media Lab, Lars Hilles gate 30, 5008 Bergen. You can also join virtually from anywhere worldwide via Zoom. The presentation and Q&A will last approx. one hour, for the physical attendees we invite you to hang back till 16:00 for refreshments and to network with the participants in the Developer network.
