Dear friend/fellow student,
We finally welcome you to be part of ANSA Hungary! 🥳🇳🇴
Støttemedlemskap/Support membership is a new service that we in ANSA Hungary will provide to our international friends who for various reasons join our events anyway. This membership is for you that want to join in on the fun, but do not want to pay the high non-member ticket prices. The non-member ticket prices are so high compared to member tickets due to regulations within the organization. If you will join at least two of our events throughout the year, then a membership like this one will definitely benefit your pocket. We recommend to participate in at least both the major events during the year (Fadderuken and 17. Mai)! We made this membership to not alienate other Scandinavian students, partners of our members, Norwegian non-students and others who for some reason naturally tend to hang out with our members.
The Support Membership is only valid for events held in Hungary, or those arranged by any local ANSA board from Hungary. Meaning, it is not valid in other branches of ANSA in other countries (well, it might work if you ask them nicely 😇). Although, you will enjoy membership-prizes on all that happens within Budapest and Pécs + whatever events/trips that ANSA Hungary will be cooking up this year.
The price of this support-membership is decided based on what the Norwegian students pay for their memberships and the subsidies from the government ear-marked for norwegian students. There is a one-time payment for the yearly subscription coming in at 700 norwegian kroner (NOK). You will then be a member in one year from the day of the purchase.
Note that as per ANSA regulations, you do not have voting rights at the representative elections, and also cannot apply for any position in our organization. However, you are more than welcome to join as spectator during our votings and can voice your opinion.
