Dan Solbach will stop by Grafill Tromsø, Bergen and Oslo on his visit to Norway. The talk will have a retrospective focus, looking closer at Dans experience as a graphic designer working via artist collaborations, self-organized spaces and publishing.

Dan Solbach (*1987 Gentofte, DK) is a Swiss graphic designer based in Berlin, Germany, specialized in art books and visual identities. His practice focuses on design for artists, galleries, and contemporary art institutions. In close collaboration with the clients, Solbach develops artists’ books, exhibition catalogues, monographs, and visual identities. His clients include among others institutions such as Kunsthalle Basel, Kunsthalle Bern, Kunsthalle Zürich, Mudam Luxembourg, Tank Shanghai, Westfälischer Kunstverein, and White Cube, London. His work was awarded the Most Beautiful Swiss Books and the Swiss Design Award, and he is twice the recipient of the „Goldene Letter“ for the Best Book Design from all over the world.
