Exploring Investment and Trade Opportunities in Peru

The Oslo Chamber of Commerce / ICC Norway and the Embassy of Peru in Norway are pleased to co-host a business seminar highlighting investment and trade opportunities between Norway and Peru. 

The event will bring together Norwegian businesses and relevant stakeholders to explore opportunities for investment, partnerships, and trade with Peru, focusing on the following four key sectors:

• Fishing 
• Maritime shipping
• Energy 
• Agricultural industries

The program will combine presentations and a panel discussion, with the opportunity for informal networking over Peruvian food and drinks afterwards.

Speaker biographies:

Gycs Gordon, Economic Attaché of the Embassy of Peru in Norway, based in Rotterdam

Gycs Gordon leads PROMPERÚ’s commercial office in Rotterdam, covering the Netherlands and Nordic markets, and works to promote Peruvian trade, investment and business opportunities in Northern Europe. He has extensive experience in international trade promotion and has previously served in PROMPERÚ offices in Hamburg and Taipei.

Fernando de Lapuerta, Executive Vice President (EVP) International, Statkraft, based in Madrid

Fernando de Lapuerta has nearly two decades of experience in leadership roles in the international renewable energy industry. He has worked at Statkraft for more than ten years and has held positions in Spain, Panama, Brazil, and Norway. In the years prior to his appointment as a member of the Group Executive Management, he served as Country Manager for Statkraft in Brazil.

Emmanuel Aguilar Burgoa, Country Officer for Latin America & the Caribbean, Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)

Emmanuel provides technical support to the EITI implementing countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. His responsibilities include stakeholder management, professional development, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities. Prior to joining the EITI, Emmanuel collaborated with the Center for the Study of Democracy and the Centre for Higher Education Governance, researching in the field of accountability. Emmanuel has extensive experience working in the fields of Education, Innovation and Public Administration at local and national levels.
