Grafill Moving Image: Move it!
A series of talks by Grafill Moving Image, featuring different visual artists showcasing their work and giving useful insight into their field.

This edition of «Move it!» features storyboard and visual development artist Sandra Pilny-Lockertsen.
Sandra brings real life to the stories she is trusted with, and in this talk audiences can expect to get useful insight into her process of storyboarding and a sneak peak into her secret artistic fuel.

Storyboarding is both a technical and artistic tool.  It is an underrated, yet essential, part of the preproduction of any film/animation/tv-series/game. Storyboarding is the quickest and cheapest way to test if a story translates from text to visuals, and it is in the storyboard that the narrative comes to life for the first time. This process is integral in the beginning stages to bring the whole crew of a film on the same page so they can best prepare and budget.

About Sandra:
Sandra is based in Norway and works both on national and international productions. Among her clients are Fantefilm, Qvisten Animation, Funcom, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Sony Pictures Entertainment
