Cozy, messy, and loud, Norwegian trio Dancing the Conga blend indie rock with newpunk chaos and a fearless DIY spirit. Their sophomore album, And Now... We Take America, is a genre-blurring mix of melancholy and joy — playful, political, and unpredictable in equal measure.

With songwriting shared between the members and a highly collaborative creative process, Dancing the Conga is more than just a band. It’s a creative free-for-all.

Since releasing their debut album Trying to Define Newpunk in November 2023, the trio has quickly built a strong live reputation, playing more than 60 shows across Norway. Their standout performance at by:Larm 2024 received 9/10 from Musikknyheter.no, and the band also won the NOPA Prize for songwriting. Their raw and energetic live shows have helped them gain recognition and a growing fanbase.

In summer 2025, the band began working with London- and Stockholm-based management company Myco and later signed with Time Out, Live Nation’s Norwegian booking agency.

Their upcoming album, set for release on February 13, 2026, will launch a major Norwegian tour, alongside plans for increased activity in the UK and further shows across Scandinavia.
