Exploring the Past to Power the Future: Please block 23-24. September 2026 for a workshop on Quaternary Geology of the Norwegian Continental Shelf! The focus will be on the implications of Quaternary deposits and processes for offshore energy industries, covering exploration, site investigation, subsurface characterization, geohazards, and geo-engineering.

Confirmed speakers include geologists, geophysicists and geotechnicians from industry, research institutes, universities, and governmental agencies. Programme comprises keynote presentations, case studies, sample showing, laboratory tour, and networking. The event will be hosted at Campus Ullevål in Oslo.
