Enjoying differences together!
Love knows no borders and an InterCultural relationship is a beautiful expression of that! But bringing two worlds together is not only sunshine and blue skies. It comes with its unique set of challenges and uncharted waters to navigate.
Not only are we different from one another as male and female but when communicating in different languages with different cultural approaches to directness or non-verbal cues, misunderstandings are bound to happen. And what about in-laws, holidays, raising kids together, decision making, finances, dealing with conflict?
Building a strong intercultural marriage takes work, but the rewards are more than worth it. This one-day-seminar in Oslo aims to equip and support you in your journey of navigating and enjoying differences together and becoming a strong marriage team! Whether you have been married for a long time or are about to embark on that journey together, you are more than welcome!
The day will consist of teaching sessions, processing time as a couple, worship, as well as a served lunch and refreshments. The seminar will be in English, and is arranged by FamilieFokus, a ministry with YWAM Norway, in collaberation with YWAM Oslo.

Price: 550,- pr person
Student or YWAM staff: 400,- pr person

Speakers:
Luciene & Joachim Junginger are an intercultural couple from Brazil/Germany. They have been missionaries with Youth With A Mission for over 20 years—first in Brazil and, since 2016, in Germany. As a married couple, they lead the family ministry at YWAM Hainichen, and are particularly passionate about intercultural couples and families. Their motto for this is: Enjoying differences together!
Joachim also holds an MA in Intercultural Leadership and offers team training. Together, they want to strengthen couples and families so that they don’t just somehow survive their daily lives, but can flourish and grow into strong pillars in society and in the Kingdom of God.
Joachim and Luciene have been married since 2007 and have three children (ages 10, 14, and 16).
