At the Danish Embassy in Paris, we support companies’ Competitiveness and internationalization by connecting them With the right partners and networks. In a time of increasing focus on European sovereignty and resilience, we help companies turn today’s challenges in to opportunities.
This 2-day programme, in partnership with CenSec and Energy Cluster Denmark, enables energy and defence startups access the French market and connect with key partners.

Day 1

Arrival of participants, welcome and introduction to the programme

Deepdive into the Frenchmarket: entry conditions, key priorities, support mechanisms,regulatoryandcompliancerequirements
10:30 –13:00
Visit to Station F, the world’s largest startupcampus, to engage with key actors of the innovation ecosystem and gain insights into its 30+ innovation programmes
Matchmaking afternoon
Invited participants include leading actors in the defence and energy sectors, among others:
Defence track: Thales, MBDA, Airbus, European Space Agency, Orange Cyberdefense, French Defence Innovation Agency
Energy track: EDF, RTE, CEA, TotalEnergies
14:30–15:15
Challenge presentation: operational priorities and capability needs identified by French stakeholders, e.g. grid resilience, offshore infrastructure protection, cyber resilience or dual-use AI monitoring
15:15–16:00
Pitches: Startups will present their solutions in response to the challenges
16:00–18:00
Matchmaking session and meetings
19:30
Receptionat the Ambassador’s residence, continuing the day with informal networking between participating startups and French stakeholders
Day 2

Session on financing opportunities in France and Europe Overview of the financing landscape with institutions such as Bpifrance and the European Investment Bank, as well as other public and private financing actors, providing practical guidance on accessing funding schemes and key entry points
10:30–12:00
Roundtable with venture capital and institutional investors active in deeptech, energy and defence sectors such as Supernova Invest, Elaia Partners, Omnes Capital, Expansion VC
13:30–16:00
Visit of aninvestment bank such as CréditAgricole-Corporate Investment Bank or Natixis to gain insights into the innovation and financing landscape and collaboration opportunities
16:30–17:00
