Vesterveien 4, Kristiansand, Norge
About the event
Organizer: ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Center
This 30 minute guided tour through the exhibitions Focal Point Arkivet and The Chamber of Memories: Children and War, explores how personal memories are connected to democracy, and what happens when democratic systems break down. We will explore how political systems directly affect everyday life and highlight the relationship between societal structures and individual experience. The tour also invites reflection on memory, whose stories are heard, and why freedom of expression and democracy are essential for them to exist.
The tour is led by museum educator Ingeborg Hauge.
