Talk + Workshop with SOFTER
Join SOFTER co founders Nicole and Ida for an evening focused on slower and more caring ways of thinking about technology.
The evening begins with the talk Move slow and grow things, where Nicole and Ida share the story of SOFTER. What started as a shared frustration grew into a community and a movement that challenges how technology is built, and who it is built for.
SOFTER has its roots in Copenhagen and is now also active in London, bringing an international perspective on slow technology, digital care, and alternative futures. After the talk, the evening continues with the workshop Protocols for Softer Digital Futures. Through reflection and simple, exploratory exercises, participants are invited to question established technological logics and imagine digital futures shaped by care, vulnerability, and collectivity.
No prior skills or preparation are needed. The event is open to anyone curious about technology, design, and a more human centered future.
