Workshop: Graphic Props for Film with Annie Atkins
Have you ever noticed the letters, maps, and documents in films like those by Wes Anderson—the small details that appear only briefly, yet carry the entire story?
Grafill Stavanger invites you to a hands-on and inspiring workshop on graphic props for film, led by internationally acclaimed graphic prop maker Annie Atkins.
In the workshop, you will develop ideas and concepts for your own prop collection, based on a well-known story. You’ll work with research and historical references, and explore how graphic design functions as a storytelling tool in film. Annie will provide guidance and feedback throughout the process. The focus is on storytelling and concept, not finished production.
The workshop is suited for designers, illustrators, filmmakers, writers, students, and anyone with a passion for visual storytelling.
