About Vets and Wildlife:
Vets and Wildlife is a non-profit organization that specialises in EMS projects designed to give veterinary students maximum hands-on experience through small-group placements.
🇿🇦 In South Africa, students can:
- Join clinical wildlife projects and work directly with a wildlife veterinarian (some projects take only 4–6 students)🦏
- Take part in an excellent Rehabilitation Centre project for pre-clinical students, offering hands-on experience with many different species being cared for before release back to the wild 🦜
🇱🇰 In Sri Lanka, clinical students can:
- Join three spay/neuter projects, two of which only take two students at a time, allowing close supervision and the chance to perform around 25 surgeries in two weeks🩺
Vets and Wildlife has been collaborating with veterinary students from the UK, Europe, Australia, and the USA for over 15 years, offering truly unique and practical opportunities in wildlife and clinical medicine 🐾
