Webinar: What if Swedish BankID experiences downtime? How to use Freja as a fallback solution
Wednesday 20 August
10:00 – 11:00
About the event
Organizer: Criipto
What happens when BankID fails? We’re constantly relying on our eID setup to work at all times. Yet, outages happen. Cyberattacks take place. And if you’re solely relying on BankID, you’ve got a single point of failure on your hands.
A solution to this is using Freja as a fallback solution.
Instead of offering just one type of authentication, you can offer both eIDs – and avoid users being locked out during downtime with one provider.
Join the webinar to see:
- How to use Freja as fallback authentication
- The few technical steps to implement Freja with Criipto
- A working demo + your questions, answered
Speakers
- Frederik Krogsdal Jacobsen (Software Engineer, Criipto)
- Katrine Thielke (VP MarCom, Criipto)
- Kristofer Von Betzeen (CPO, Freja)
- Joel Johansson (Head of Sales & Business Development, Freja)
What is Freja?
Freja is an international eID based in Sweden, currently with more than 1.3 million users. With Freja, you can authenticate any user who has a passport from a country that issues them with a biometric chip. Today, that’s 170 countries.
Freja is also the only government-approved eID at trust level 3 (LOA3) for users without a Swedish personal identity number (personnummer).
