09:00 – 10:00
About the event

Velkommen til det første webinaret i webinarrekken, Kollektivtanker - webinarene som gir deg innsikt i framtidens persontransport;
"Making Economics relevant in a changing world", Philippe Crist
Economics is the basis for much of what happens in the world - it guides our actions and our societies. But what should we expect -- what should we demand from economics going forward? Especially in a quickly changing world where we face humanitarian, environmental and geopolitical challenges the likes of which we have not seen in generations. Making economics relevant for today means re-assessing what we mean by "economics", whom does it serve and how should we move forward
Gled deg til en inspirerende time der Philippe Crist, International Mobility Expert and Thinktavist, deler innsikt og du får stille spørsmål!
Philippe Crist is a recognised international expert on mobility, urban challenges and innovation policies. At the core of all of his work is the conviction that policies must serve people in their day-to-day lives and that technology only helps when it helps all, not just a few. It is this conviction that leads him to place active travel and collective transport at the forefront of how we frame mobility, efficiency, equity and happiness.
Philippe won the Danish Cycling Embassy's Leadership Award for Cycling Promotion in 2016 and was the President of the programme committee for the 2015 Nantes Velo-City conference.
A French-American dual national, he is an ex-competitive cyclist and avid mushroom hunter. He does much of his best thinking on a bicycle. He is also Senior Advisor on Innovation and Foresight for the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where he coordinates innovation and foresight activities, among other things.
